Gupta is a very talkative call center employee, though he does not realize this part of his personality. He is somewhat disliked by the other call center employees as shown in the episode "Party of Five." Gupta's own family has told him this, but Gupta does not seem to realize it. It is revealed that Gupta lives in a very poor neighborhood, and that his family took over his current apartment when the previous owners were at a funeral. Gupta is shown as either being happy or disappointed, with a huge smirk or a pouting expression. Gupta is always willing to help his co-workers, assumedly because he wants more friends.
